About
Established in 1922, Halfmoon was originally a boys camp. Years later both boys and girls were welcome to attend and the camp began introducing activities like swimming, outdoor adventure, and tennis.
New Leadership - New Legacy
In 2022, just in time for the camp’s 100th anniversary, the Kimama Group purchased Halfmoon and pledged to honor it’s legacy by maintaining many of its traditions.

Our Staff
Our staff are inherently the core of what makes Halfmoon so special. College age or older, certified and accredited in their respective areas of expertise, and coming from every edge of the globe! Many of Halfmoon’s counselors were once upon a time campers, instilling the roots of family and tradition in every waking (or sleeping) moment! Halfmoon maintains a camper to staff ratio of 5 to 1.
